Area Guide to Paris, Missouri, USA

Paris Senior Citizens Community Center

Services Provided:

The Paris Senior Center provides hot meals six days a week in Paris which includes home delivery.  Meals are provided five days a week to the Holliday, Madison, Woodlawn, Santa Fe, and Stoutsville areas.  In-home care to eligible elderly and handicapped are provided through in-home contracts and private pay.

The Senior Center also has a Senior food pantry which is supplied by the Central Missouri Food Bank of Columbia for eligible Monroe County 60+ seniors.

Transportation can be provided to and from doctor appointments for a donation.

Fundraising is a vital part of the Senior Center.  A few of our main fundraisers are catered meals.  The George Washington Dinner is held in February, fish fry in July, and baked food items and an occasional bake sale.

Additional Information:

In the future we are planning on expanding our services to provide more meals, activities, and fun things to do to be able to keep up with the rising demand of the seniors in our community.  Do to lack of space at our current location, we have to turn away large family reunions and large groups for catered meals.  We have had several requests for meals during the lunch time hours and perhaps in the future we will be able to provide them.
