The goal of the Monroe County Democrat Club is to promote the Democratic Party. Each meeting features political office speakers from various state offices. The club meets the months of February, April, June, August and October on the 4th Tuesday of those months. These are all dinner meetings and we eat at 7 p.m. Our February meeting is held in Paris. The April meeting is held at the Santa Fe Christian Church. In June we meet somewhere in Madison and in August we go to Monroe City. A fund-raising fish fry is held in October meeting at the Paris Senior Citizens Center prepared by the officers of the club.
