The Country Homemakers Club was established in
1967. Several of the charter members are still attending. The club
meets on the first Tuesday of each month. Projects are planned to help
the community. A " Strive for Success" award is presented each
year to a graduating senior. Quilts are made to give to Christmas is
Caring and others, in case of a loss of their home. School supplies are
supplied to a school in August each year. Toys for kids receives money
from the club. Club members usually take two trips each year. For
